The National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) has announced the schedules for the NCVT ITI Theory and Practical Exams for the year 2025. The exams are set to take place from July 17 to July 20 for the Practical Exam and from July 28 to August 20 for the Theory Exam.
The NCVT offers a wide range of trades across four main sectors: Engineering, Non-Engineering, Service, and Agriculture. In the Engineering sector, trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel Engine, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV), Electronics Mechanic, Wireman, Instrument Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (RAC), Tool & Die Maker, Welder (Gas & Electric), Plumber, Surveyor, Foundryman, Carpenter, Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance (ICTSM), Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance are available.
For those interested in the Non-Engineering sector, trades such as Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English/Hindi), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Dress Making, Fashion Design & Technology, Health Sanitary Inspector, Sewing Technology, Hospital Housekeeping, Front Office Assistant, Baker and Confectioner, Food Production (General), Food & Beverage Service, Interior Design & Decoration are offered.
Additionally, the Agriculture & Other Specialised sector includes trades like Fruit and Vegetable Processor, Dairying, Agro Processing, Horticulture, Soil Testing and Crop Technician.
Candidates can access their NCVT ITI Result on the skillindiadigital.gov.in website. The expected date for the publication of the results is August 28, 2025.
The NCVT, an advisory body created by the Indian government in 1956 and operating under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, is responsible for setting and maintaining the standards for vocational training programs and courses across the country, especially those at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and through apprenticeship programs.
