Severe Auto Collision on a Public Roadway
In the early hours of last night, a severe traffic accident occurred on Benninghauser Straße, house number 84, in Lippstadt-Benninghausen.
At around 03:05 AM, a Seat, driven by a 34-year-old man from Lippstadt, left the road, flipped over several times, hit two parked cars and a gas tank, and ended up on someone's property. The driver was severely injured and had to be freed by the fire department before being flown by helicopter to a hospital in Dortmund for further treatment.
The traffic division of the Soest police is currently investigating the accident. An accident reconstruction team from Münster was called to the scene to document the evidence, and a blood sample was taken as part of the investigation. The car was seized as evidence on the orders of the public prosecutor's office in Paderborn.
The 34-year-old man does not currently hold a driver's license.
