In the wee hours of September 9, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued red and yellow alerts for fog across the UAE. The reduced visibility on roads has been reported in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, prompting Abu Dhabi Police to warn motorists to exercise caution and pay attention to electronic signboards on the roads showing changing speed limits.

Meanwhile, gold investors are driving prices toward $5,000 amid instability, but prices in the UAE have slipped. 22K gold dipped below Dh400 per gram.

The weather conditions are set to remain humid on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, especially in western regions, where fog or mist may form. Residents across the UAE can expect partly cloudy skies on September 9, with the possibility of convective cloud formation over eastern areas in the afternoon. Temperatures in Abu Dhabi will reach up to 42°C while mercury in Dubai will reach up to 40°C.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from southwesterly to northwesterly directions, occasionally freshening during the day at speeds ranging between 10 and 25kmph, reaching up to 40kmph at times.
