Severe Road Mishap Causes Injuries to Cyclists (According to LPI-GTH)

In a tragic turn of events, a traffic accident occurred near the Gotha Police Headquarters on Saturday morning. The incident involved a cyclist and a car, resulting in severe injuries to the 22-year-old cyclist.

According to the initial reports transmitted by the Gotha Police Headquarters, the accident took place on Walther-Rathenau-Straße. The cyclist collided with the car for unknown reasons as the car was turning. As a result, the bicycle and the car were significantly damaged, with an estimated damage of around 6,000 euros.

The cyclist's face struck the rear of the car, causing the severe injuries. The cyclist was immediately airlifted to the clinic in Erfurt by helicopter for further medical attention.
