Severe Road Mishap Leaves Cyclist Critically Wounded
A 55-year-old cyclist from Hamm was involved in a traffic accident on August 28. The incident occurred on the southern cycle path of Wilhelmstraße, at the intersection with Radbodstraße, around 7:30 PM.
The cyclist was crossing the intersection heading north when the accident took place. Simultaneously, a 62-year-old VW driver from Hamm was driving south on Radbodstraße. The VW driver turned left onto Wilhelmstraße at the intersection.
The collision occurred in the area of the pedestrian crossing. As a result, the cyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in Hamm for further treatment.
The accident involving the cyclist and the VW vehicle remains under investigation by the Police Headquarters Hamm. The Police Headquarters Hamm can provide further information about the accident.
