Japanese poker sensation Shiina Okamoto is set to make a comeback to the poker scene, with her next appearance at the TMT championship events scheduled for October 17.

Okamoto, who has been making waves in the poker world, recently returned from the PokerStars Women's Summer Festival in London, where she played for the first time. Her journey in London was successful, as she earned a fourth career title in a high roller at the Taiwan Millions last week.

The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has been a golden period for Okamoto. She defended her Ladies Championship title successfully this summer, marking her second consecutive win in the event. This impressive feat earned her the Female Player of the Series award.

Okamoto's back-to-back wins at the WSOP have been a source of excitement and admiration among her peers. Many players congratulated her and even asked for photos together when she sat down to play the WSOP Main Event. One comment that made Okamoto particularly happy was that her story is so unrealistic that it would be boring if turned into a Manga.

Despite her success, Okamoto remains grounded and focused on improvement. She plans to study deep stack strategy to further strengthen her game. Okamoto also expressed her belief that poker will become more popular in Japan due to the growing popularity of herself and fellow Japanese player Masato Yokosawa.

Reflecting on her WSOP Ladies win this year, Okamoto felt almost spiritual about the experience. However, she did not have a celebration party upon returning home to Japan. Instead, she is already looking forward to her next challenge, with the goal of winning in both ladies' and open events for the rest of 2025.

Okamoto can be followed on Instagram, providing fans with updates on her poker journey. As she returns for more championship events, poker enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing more of Okamoto's remarkable skills and determination.
