In an effort to ensure the safety and durability of the road infrastructure, the District Road Construction Office of Kreis Paderborn is carrying out necessary measures at two locations on Paderborn Street and the town entrance in Diestelbruch.

From August 12 to 13, the entrance to Hamburger Street in Diestelbruch will be fully closed, and Bad Meinberg Street will be partially closed alternately. During this period, a specialist company will be cutting expansion joints into the new roadway. Traffic at both locations will be regulated by a traffic light in one lane to maintain safety.

Additionally, from August 18 to 20, similar work will be carried out at the roundabout on Paderborn Street near the open-air museum. Temporary closures are also required at this location, and access to the open-air museum will not be possible during the work.

The final road works at the town entrance in Diestelbruch and the new round path on Paderbornstraße will also be performed by the District Road Construction Office. Temporary closures are required at this entrance as well.

The specialist company will also perform final roadwork at the roundabout near the open-air museum on Paderborn Street. Furthermore, they will carry out final roadwork at the roundabout on Paderborn Street near the open-air museum, as well as at the roundabout near the access road to the open-air museum.

The city portal has issued a press release regarding these necessary measures, advising the public of the temporary closures and potential impacts on traffic and public transportation. During this time, the approach to the bus stop in Diestelbruch may be partially impaired, and passengers may not always be able to board and alight barrier-free.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and allow for extra travel time. The District Road Construction Office and the city of Paderborn appreciate the public's understanding and cooperation during this important roadwork.
