News Article: Roadwork and Expansion Joint Installation Scheduled in Paderborn Road and Diestelbruch

Residents and commuters in and around Paderborn Road and Diestelbruch should be aware of upcoming roadwork and expansion joint installation, scheduled to take place over the next few weeks.

From August 12 to 13, a specialized company, E. Lüling GmbH, will be carrying out final work on the road in Diestelbruch. During this period, the entrance to Hamburger Street in Diestelbruch will be fully closed, and Bad Meinberger Street will be partially closed on one side. Temporary closures are also required at the town entrance in Diestelbruch.

Partial impairment of access to the bus stop in Diestelbruch may occur during this time, potentially affecting barrier-free boarding and alighting. The city portal apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these necessary measures.

Simultaneously, from August 18 to 20, the same work will be performed at the roundabout on Paderborn Road near the open-air museum. Access to the open-air museum will not be possible during the work at the roundabout. Traffic regulation at the roundabout will be managed by a traffic light during the work.

At both locations, expansion joints will be cut into the concrete surfaces and filled with a rubber-like compound. This work is part of the installation of expansion joints in the new roadway.

The final roadwork at the town entrance in Diestelbruch and the roundabout on Paderborn Road will be carried out by the same specialized company, E. Lüling GmbH, which specializes in cutting expansion joints.

We encourage all road users to plan their journeys accordingly and to follow the traffic regulations during this time to ensure a safe and smooth commute. The city portal thanks you for your understanding and cooperation.
