Six-day ceremony culminating in a church dedication, marked by beer consumption and a car accident
The Stadelner Kärwa, a traditional Kirchweih festival, will take place from August 28 to September 2, 2025, in the charming neighbourhood of Fürth-Stadeln. This year's event promises a week filled with excitement, music, and local culture.
On Thursday, August 28, the festivities kick off with a beer tasting and Schlachtschüssel in the courtyard of the Catholic church, accompanied by entertainment from Roland from "The Moonlights".
Sunday's highlight is an ecumenical service in the festival tent, followed by a parade of Stadeln's clubs, the "Kirchweih Contest", and an evening performance by "Franken Bengel".
Monday's events include a breakfast with Kirchweih float award ceremony, traditional Betzntanz by Kirchweih lads and lasses, and all-day music by "Franken Mix".
Friday evening will see the "Rothsee Musikanten" take the stage at the party night, while the Kirchweih youth parade will take place during the day.
Tuesday features the "Rumspiel" by Kirchweih lads, a seniors' meeting, a children's afternoon with discounted ride prices, festival tent operation with "Gipfelgaudi", and the symbolic "Kirchweih burial" at around 10 PM.
