A high-stakes poker weekend took place at the "Bombay" casino, hosting the WPTN Kazakhstan series. With the Main Event satellite just around the corner, the action was heating up. A turbo satellite with a buy-in of $100 drew in 26 contenders, eventually crowning three lucky winners - Zhenish Ashirov (Kyrgyzstan), Evgeniy Moon (Kazakhstan), and Talgat Shuelbaev (Kazakhstan) - who scored tickets for the big dance.

As the Almaty Poker Cup entered its second day, anticipation was in the air. 36 players had already made it past the first starting days, with an additional 40 entries swelling the ranks. Payouts commenced from the 9th place. A thrilling battle played out, with players relentlessly chopping down the competition until only the final table of 9 remained.
In a daring move, the players - eight of whom were forum members - decided not to postpone the final day but play until the last man was standing. As a result, Dilshat, codenamed "Nau," emerged triumphant, defeating fellow players and pocketing a hefty prize of $7,639.
