In the tranquil Fläming region of Germany, approximately 75 kilometers south of Berlin, a tragic incident occurred on Saturday afternoon. According to initial reports by the "Märkische Allgemeine," a light aircraft crashed into a cornfield near the Reinsdorf airport in Niederer Fläming, Teltow-Fläming district.

The incident claimed the lives of two men, aged 62 and 66, who were aboard the aircraft. The exact cause of the crash is currently unknown, and investigations are underway to determine the series of events that led to the unfortunate accident.

The Reinsdorf airport, it should be noted, is a unique facility that caters to both gliders and motorized aircraft. The intended destination of the crashed aircraft remains unclear at this time.

The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (Bundesstelle für Flugunfalluntersuchung, BFU) has taken charge of the investigation, working diligently to uncover the details that will shed light on this unfortunate event.
