Sneaker Collaboration: Deichman and SpongeBob Launch Customizable Footwear Designer at Gamescom, Featuring Letshugo
DEICHMANN SE, the market leader in European single-price shoe retail, has partnered with Paramount to launch an exciting limited edition sneaker campaign featuring everyone's favourite underwater sponge, SpongeBob SquarePants.
The interactive SpongeBob sneaker configurator, designed for adult fans, is set to debut live at Gamescom 2025 in Cologne. Notable gaming and entertainment streamers, such as Letshugo and MontanaBlack, will present the tool, with Letshugo inviting his community to co-create unique designs.
The configurator complements the existing children's SpongeBob collection at DEICHMANN and offers a perfect platform for the international fanbase to showcase their creativity. Each design submission automatically enters participants into a raffle, with five winners receiving their self-designed sneakers as genuine one-of-a-kind pieces.
DEICHMANN SE, founded in 1913 and headquartered in Essen, Germany, is a 100% family-owned company that employs around 49,900 people, operates approximately 4,700 stores, and runs around 40 online shops. The SpongeBob sneaker design project aligns well with the company's playful and innovative spirit.
SpongeBob, the character from the Nickelodeon series, has been entertaining audiences since 1999. The collaboration between DEICHMANN and Paramount promises to bring a fun and engaging experience for fans of all ages.
You can access the Sneaker Configurator at spongebob.deichmann.com. The configurator will also be presented at the Paramount booth in Hall H7.1, Stand B051, at Gamescom 2025. Get ready to unleash your creativity and design your very own SpongeBob sneakers!
