In the ongoing World Cup qualifiers, several exciting matches have taken place, with some teams showcasing impressive performances while others faced unexpected challenges.

In a closely contested match, Poland and the Netherlands drew 1:1. Matthew Cash scored the equalizing goal for Poland in the 78th minute, cancelling out Denzel Dumfries' opener for the Netherlands, which came in the 28th minute. Despite clear dominance, the Dutch were unable to secure a win, leaving them still searching for a direct qualification spot.

Meanwhile, Spain and Turkey emerged victorious in their respective matches. Marc Cucurella and Mikel Oyarzabal scored the opening goals for Spain in the 5th and 30th minutes, respectively, against Bulgaria. Mikel Merino added a third for Spain in the 38th minute, securing a comfortable 3:0 victory. Turkey, on the other hand, won against Georgia with a thrilling 3:2 scoreline. Kerem Aktürkoglu scored two goals for Turkey, in the 41st and 52nd minutes, with Mert Muldur opening the scoring for Turkey in the 3rd minute.

Northern Ireland also secured a win in their qualifier, defeating Luxembourg 3:1. Jamie Reid scored the first goal for Northern Ireland in the 7th minute, followed by Shea Charles' goal in the 46th minute and Justin Devenny's goal in the 70th minute.

It's important to note that only the group winner in the World Cup qualifiers qualifies directly for the tournament. The runner-up, however, must go to the playoffs.

In the upcoming matches, the German national team will face Northern Ireland in Cologne on Sunday. The coach of the Northern Irish team is Julian Nagelsmann, adding an interesting twist to the encounter. Belgium, currently in third place in Group J, will be looking to improve their position when they face Liechtenstein in their next qualifier.

Despite unimpressive performances so far, Belgium managed to win their last qualifier against Liechtenstein with a convincing 6:0 scoreline. Rudi Garcia, the coach of Belgium's national team, will be hoping for a similar result to boost their chances of securing a spot in the playoffs.

These results have certainly added an element of excitement to the World Cup qualifiers, with several teams still in contention for a spot in the tournament. Stay tuned for more updates!
