St. Pauli's distinguished mayor engages in a renowned celebrity competition for the capture of the Fish Trophy
Saturday evening saw the 14th Gute-Leude Summer Festival take place in the heart of Hamburg. The event, held at an unusual location previously occupied by the shipping company "Hamburg Süd", was a star-studded affair.
Among the notable guests were Andreas Bergmann (Altona 93), Maryam Blumenthal (Greens), Frederik Braun (Miniature Wonderland), Michael Ehnert (Actor), Koral Elci (Restaurateur, Table Dot), and Andrea Gerhard (Actress). The musical highlight of the evening was provided by Jan Plewka (Selig) and Marco Schmedtje.
Notable attendees also included actress Katharina Pütz, Hamburg's Second Mayor Katharina Fegebank, Finance Senator Dr. Andreas Dressel, St. Pauli legend André Trulsen, Police President Falk Schnabel, and TV host Arnd Zeigler.
The event featured a unique "World Championship" of a round game with fish-shaped paddles on a fish-shaped table. The final was won by football coach André Trulsen, who took home the plastic fish trophy. However, Katharina Fegebank, who had twisted her ankle, chose to not participate in the game.
As the evening progressed, people were relaxing in sun loungers on the building's forecourt. But at 10 pm, it was time to go inside due to noise protection concerns on Willy-Brandt-Straße.
Today, the low connecting building hosts "Table Dot - Urban Canteen", a chic retro restaurant. The festival, with its star-studded guest list and unique activities, was a memorable addition to Hamburg's summer events.
