Star Performers Emerged at TCU Elite Training Camp in 2027!
In a recent showcase at the TCU Elite Camp, several promising young talents shone, with Miles Jackson from Kingdom Collegiate and Jonathan Bradley from TCU Elite Camp's class of 2025 being particular standouts.
Jackson, a 6'3 guard, displayed impressive vertical pop and excelled in transition, catch-and-drive plays, and finishing at the rim. His athleticism and agility were evident throughout the games.
Bradley, on the other hand, excelled as a point guard, demonstrating his ability to control the game's tempo. His performance was noteworthy, particularly in how he managed the pace and directed his team towards victory.
Damon Miles from Clear Lake also impressed with his quality scoring abilities. He showed multiple ways of creating space and getting shots off, making him a productive player during the camp games.
Isaiah Santos, a forward from Seven Lakes, played taller than his listed height and was a strong rebounder for a wing. He demonstrated effective finishing and driving skills with either hand, making him a formidable force on the court.
Drew Guy from Episcopal School of Dallas showcased good positional size and feel. He was able to turn the corner and get to the rim, and his intriguing potential was evident throughout the games.
James McCall Spears, a forward from Garland Lakeview Centennial, utilised his burly build well to score inside. He had good footwork, could score on the block, and was an adequate passer in the post.
Brayden Williams, a 6'4 SF/SG from Faith Family, excelled in spot-up situations and improved his ability to attack closeouts. He stretched the floor and was a reliable defender.
Kyle Amadi, another player from Faith Family, demonstrated quality self-creation skills and showed a fearless confidence when taking shots. However, his shot selection needs improvement, and quicker off-ball movement is essential for further development.
Steve McLeod, a 6'8 PF/C from Grand Prairie, improved his back-to-the-basket game and was a dependable low post scorer. He was an active player who ran the floors well.
Jacques Mitchell, a point guard from Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, Okla.), was the standout performer in the 2027 class at the TCU Elite Camp. His playmaking and scoring abilities were impressive, and his live dribble passing, particularly with either hand, was his most notable skill.
Malik Parish, a forward from New Wave Academy, was an active and mobile player who altered shots at the rim, ran the floors hard, and could be given the ball in open space to drive and score. He is a good offensive rebounder and has an intriguing perimeter game.
Xander Pruzinsky, a 6'8 center from Frisco Memorial, specializes in long roller, inside play finishing, and rim protection. He plays with a high motor.
Romejo Waits, a 6'5 SF from Byron Nelson, is an adaptable player who is efficient in scoring and can handle higher volume shots. He excels in two-way impact.
Broderick Wyatt, a guard from Houston Legacy, is a lefty, strongly built player who can play multiple positions due to his strength. His decision-making stood out, as he made quick and simple reads.
Lance Williams, a 6'10 PF from Texas Storm, is a modern-day forward with perimeter skills, adequate passing, and a need to improve his motor.
Jacques Mitchell used his broad frame to initiate contact on drives, creating space to connect on finishes to the rim. Malik Parish plays with an edge and was the best communicator I saw at the camp.
David Baliraine, a center from Dynamic Prep, is a rebounder and rim protector with long arms and broad shoulders. He has great timing and anticipation as a shot blocker and is always at the right spot as a help-defender.
Jacques Mitchell's stock could potentially soar during the 2025-26 school year.
