Startup Forto, led by Michael Wax, secures funding from CDTM Venture Fund and Helantic, aiming to bridge the gender gap in the venture capital landscape, partnering with identity.vc.

The CDTM Venture Fund, a new venture capital fund, has been established with a focus on investing exclusively in startups founded by former CDTM alumni. With a hefty sum of 8.2 million euros, the fund aims to support around 60 early-stage startups over the next four years.

In related news, the logistics unicorn, Forto, has undergone a leadership change. Founder Michael Wax is stepping down as CEO and will transition into the role of Chairman of the Board. Guillaume Petit-Perrin, the CFO of Forto, will take over as CEO. Forto, a Berlin-based company, has raised around 500 million in venture capital in recent years, with investors including Disruptive, Softbank, and G Squared.
