Stolen Car on A81 Highway Near Ilsfeld in Heilbronn District: Three Police Officers Slightly Harmed During Arrest
A high-speed chase on the A81 motorway towards Würzburg early on Saturday morning resulted in a stolen Ford C-Max being stopped, causing a series of collisions and minor injuries to several police officers and a 16-year-old passenger.
Initial investigations revealed that the driver of the stolen vehicle was under the influence of intoxicating substances and did not possess a valid driver's license. The driver attempted to evade control, leading to collisions with two patrol cars.
The incident took place near the Heilbronn Police Headquarters, with the stolen car eventually being directed onto a rest area by two patrol cars. The driver was subsequently apprehended by the police.
Three police officers were slightly injured in the incident, as well as a 16-year-old passenger in the stolen car. The total material damage from the incident was approximately 38,000 euros.
