Streets in Syktyvkar under traffic blockage

The city of Syktyvkar has announced extended traffic closures and restrictions on several streets and sidewalks until September 30, as part of the "Road Maintenance" project and emergency repair works on power lines.

Starting from September 9 to 10, street 8 March, specifically the area around house No. 46, will be closed to all traffic. Detours for this closure will be available via Zoia Kosmodemyanskaya, Praymaya, and 8 March streets.

In addition, the entire width of Tentюkovskaya Street from its intersection with Vostochnaya Street to house No. 8 on Tentюkovskaya Street will be closed. Similarly, the entire width of International Street from house No. 14 to its intersection with Vostochnaya Street will also be closed.

The closure on Oktyabrsky Prospekt will affect two sections. Half the width of the street from Kommunisticheskaya Street to house No. 48 on Oktyabrsky Prospekt will be closed, as well as half the width from Kataeva Street to Opelnina Street. Pedestrians will have their entire sidewalk width on Oktyabrsky Prospekt from house No. 86 to house No. 60, and from house No. 42 to house No. 40, closed during this period.

The closures of International Street and Tentюkovskaya Street will also be extended until September 30. The changes on International Street will affect a part of the street between house No. 13 on Kutuzov Street and house No. 14 on International Street.

The restriction on traffic movement will also be extended until September 30 for Oktyabrsky Prospekt and Opelnina Street. Public transport will be prohibited from stopping on Oktyabrsky Prospekt from Kataeva Street to Opelnina Street during this time.

The closure in the Dyrnos area is expected to last until August 31 due to emergency repair works on power lines. Unfortunately, the search results do not contain information about the person responsible for these repairs.

The decrees regarding these traffic changes can be found on the Syktyvkar administration's website. Detours are available for the closure on street 8 March, and the city encourages commuters to plan their routes accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
