On the 31st of August, Malaysia celebrated its 68th Independence Day with a grand parade at Dataran Putrajaya. The event, attended by over 100,000 people, according to Perbadanan Putrajaya, featured a spectacular performance by a contingent of 2,000 students.

The students, who spent more than two months training for the performance, used a giant 11-page plotting book during their act. They sang iconic phrases such as "Daulat Tuanku," "Rukun Negara," and "Negaraku," and performed a medley of patriotic and folk songs, including "Wau Bulan," "Dia Datang," and "Sayang Kinabalu."

National icon Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza joined the students in singing this year's National Day theme song. The students' performance was a highlight of the day, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim hailing it as the best he has ever seen.

Anwar Ibrahim was not the only prominent figure in attendance. His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil were also present. After the parade, Anwar personally greeted the students and congratulated them for their efforts.

The parade, which began as early as 7am, included 21 marching bands, seven decorated floats, 508 land and air assets, and 116 animals from public service units. A total of 81 contingents involving 14,062 participants took part in the event.

However, the specific schools that made up the 2,000-student contingent performing the "human graphics" display have not been identified in the search results. Despite this, the performance left a lasting impression on those who witnessed it, with Anwar Ibrahim expressing his admiration for the students' effort and skill.
