On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the city of Bottrop invites all interested citizens of Kirchhellen to a free seminar on practical solutions for individual climate protection. This event is part of the ongoing Prima.Klima.Kirchhellen project.
The workshop, taking place at the Aula of Kirchhellen School Center (Kirchhellener Ring 18), will start at 5:30 PM. Registration can be done by email at or by phone at 02041 77394-15.
During the workshop, attendees will learn about various climate protection solutions, including greening roofs and facades, and sensible use of rainwater. Additionally, the possibilities for rainwater disconnection will be presented.
The Prima.Klima.Kirchhellen project, which includes this workshop, is also part of a larger monthly renovation consultation held every first Thursday of the month at the Kirchhellen District Administration Office.
The process for applying for funding will also be explained at the workshop. It is worth noting that the workshop is eligible for a subsidy of up to 80 percent of the costs, provided by Emschergenossenschaft/Lippeverband.
The seminar, like the workshop, is free of charge. Parking is available at the school center, opposite the old cemetery, and along the parking strip of St. Johannes Church.
Unfortunately, specific information about the financial institution involved in the Prima.Klima.Kirchhellen project with the city of Bottrop could not be found in the search results.
We encourage all residents of Kirchhellen to attend this informative event and take a step towards a more sustainable future.
