Surveying progress on Bamberg's 2025 Mobility Plan
In the heart of Germany, the city and district of Bamberg have launched a crucial initiative to gather insights on its citizens' mobility habits. Over 8,800 households received a survey request from the City Planning Office or Landratsamt Bamberg in early July.
The mobility survey, an essential step in shaping the mobility transition for Bamberg, is still ongoing. The project managers hope for a high number of survey participants, regardless of their level of mobility. All households initially contacted can still participate in the survey, and the goal is to reach 2,500 respondents, with participation being encouraged until the end of July.
By taking part in the survey, citizens can help shape the mobility of tomorrow. The results, expected in the fourth quarter of 2025, will provide valuable insights to guide the city and district's mobility policies.
Participation in the survey is voluntary and anonymous. To access the survey information, simply scan the QR code found in the sidebar or visit the dedicated website: www.region-bamberg-mobil.de.
As a token of appreciation, the city and district of Bamberg are giving away 20 gourmet baskets from the regional campaign "Genussland" worth 35 euros each among all participants. So far, over 1,500 people from participating households have taken part in the survey.
The mobility survey in Bamberg is a testament to the city's commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking urban planning. By understanding the mobility habits of its citizens, Bamberg aims to create a more efficient, accessible, and environmentally friendly transportation system for everyone.
Please join in this important initiative and help shape the mobility of tomorrow in Bamberg. Your participation matters!
