Suspect Apprehended for Alleged Theft from Local Fitness Center
In the city of Hamm, a 44-year-old man was arrested on Monday in connection to a burglary that occurred on July 13. The incident took place at the fitness studio "Am Huelsenbusch," with the man being the primary suspect.
The burglary occurred between 10 PM and 6 AM on Sunday, July 13. During the incident, several items were stolen, including a jukebox, key ring, televisions, mobile phones, bicycles, tablets, and other valuables.
The arrest took place at an apartment located on Sedan Street. The police secured the stolen goods found during the search of the 44-year-old's apartment. In addition to the jukebox, the man also stole a key with an "AirTag" attached, which led police to his apartment, facilitating his arrest.
The man is a repeat offender who has previously come to the attention of Hamm police. He was provisionally arrested during the search of his apartment, and following his arrest, he was taken into police custody.
