Suspected car thieves detained by Kuwaiti law enforcement during criminal spree

In the heart of Al-Dajeej, a noteworthy incident unfolded recently. A gang of four individuals, hailing from African nations, was apprehended by the Criminal Security Affairs Department. The arrest was the result of a meticulous operation, involving the deployment of a security force in the area.

The suspects, identified as Mohammed Al-Salem, Fatima Al-Hajji, Khaled Al-Faraj, and Aisha Al-Mansour, were accused of stealing money from vehicles. To evade detection, the gang concealed the base numbers of their vehicles and frequently switched license plates, making it difficult for authorities to track them.

The arrest was made not in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, as initially reported, but in the Al-Dajeej area itself. The suspects were in their vehicle at the time of arrest, near a bank in the area.

The operation was the culmination of several days of surveillance, during which the gang was observed targeting bank customers in the Al-Dajeej area. The suspects were using vehicles with mismatched plates, another tactic to evade identification.

The Ministry of Interior conducted investigations, supported by modern technology, which led to the arrest. Several thefts have recently been reported in the area, and the defendants have confessed to these crimes.

Legal procedures are now underway for the referral of the suspects to the competent authorities. The incident was reported by Al Rai newspaper, and the information was verified by sources before the deployment of the security force.

This arrest serves as a reminder of the vigilance required in maintaining the safety and security of our communities. The authorities are committed to ensuring the safety of its citizens and will continue to take necessary measures to combat such crimes.
