Sven Kalisch, the co-founder and former Group CEO of Teccle Group, has announced his departure from the company on August 19, 2025. In a heartfelt post on LinkedIn, Kalisch shared his plans to take a break of at least six months before embarking on a new challenge.

Kalisch, who holds a master's degree in economics from Goethe University Frankfurt, co-founded Teccle Group in September 2020 alongside Thomas Schmidt, Markus Wolf, and Klaus Kaiser with the help of financial investor FMC. The IT services company has since grown exponentially, currently employing around 700 people at 19 locations.

Kalisch described Teccle Group as representing "collective entrepreneurship" and aimed to rethink Buy-and-Build in the IT service market. His leadership was instrumental in boosting Teccle's security expertise in December 2024 and in securing the company's ranking among the top system houses in Germany in June 2025.

In August 2025, Teccle celebrated its fifth birthday. On this occasion, Klaus Kaiser, who has been reorganized as the Group CEO following Kalisch's departure, acknowledged the co-founder's role in creating structures and fostering unity at Teccle, which laid the foundation for current growth.

Kaiser thanked Kalisch for his entrepreneurial courage, strategic clarity, and crucial contribution to Teccle's group development. He also expressed that Kalisch is a fantastic person and an invigorating element for the entire industry. Kaiser wished Kalisch all the best for his new ideas and projects.

Klaus Kaiser was not the only one to express warm sentiments towards Kalisch. In his farewell message, Kalisch bid farewell to Teccle's employees with personal and somewhat melancholic words. He expressed a desire to observe Teccle's future development from the outside with great curiosity and a deep sense of connection.

Before joining Teccle, Kalisch co-founded a holding company with Thomas Schmidt and served as a guest lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim. He also worked as a project manager at KPMG. In his youth, Kalisch played soccer for Eintracht Frankfurt and later played semi-professionally for SV Wehen Wiesbaden for three years.

The successor of Sven Kalisch as Group CEO at Teccle Group after his resignation from the operational leadership position in 2024 is Michael Weber. Under Weber's leadership, Teccle continued to expand, acquiring another Datev partner in January 2025.

As Kalisch steps away from Teccle, he leaves behind a legacy of innovation, growth, and unity. His contributions to the company will be fondly remembered, and all eyes will be on him as he embarks on his next adventure.
