Target now stocks Thinx's affordable menstrual underwear line
Thinx, the innovative period underwear brand, is set to make a significant leap in 2021 with the launch of its new product line, Thinx for All. This new line will be available at major retailers such as Target, CVS, Duane Reade, and b8ta, with additional retailers like CVS and Urban Outfitters joining later this year.
The new line made its brick-and-mortar debut through a partnership with Nordstrom in early 2019, and Thinx has since been gradually expanding its retail presence. With over 300 physical points of distribution globally, the brand has partnerships in premium department stores, lifestyle, and beauty sectors.
Lyndsey Arnold, vice president of Partnerships at Thinx, stated that the company has been slowly building up its retail partnership portfolio over the last three years. This strategic move allows Thinx to reach ten times its current retail store distribution via several new partnerships.
Each pair of underwear in the new line costs $17, making it a price point perfect for mass market retail. The new line offers inclusive sizing for brief, bikini, and hi-waist styles, ensuring that the product caters to a wide range of customers.
The launch of the new line marks continued growth for the brand, which saw an over 48% increase in earnings in 2020. Thinx's products, known for their built-in technology that prevents leaks, blocks odors, and wicks away moisture, will continue to be a key feature in the new line.
Target, known for selling several direct-to-consumer (DTC) products in stores, including Function of Beauty, Lively, Native, Quip, is one of the retailers carrying the new Thinx line. The new line is available on Target.com and in some Target stores.
The new Thinx line, Thinx for All, is a testament to the brand's commitment to making period underwear accessible and inclusive for all. With its focus on affordability and inclusivity, Thinx is poised to make a significant impact in the market.
