Tech giants Meta and Google Cloud join forces in a six-year, $10 billion collaboration.
In a significant move, Google Cloud has entered into a six-year agreement with Meta, worth over $10 billion, according to reports. This deal, which includes Google Cloud servers, storage, and networking facilities, could potentially elevate Google Cloud to the top spot in the Cloud Wars Top 10, a ranking of the top cloud infrastructure providers.
Thomas Kurian, the Chairman and CEO of Google Cloud, spearheaded this multibillion-dollar deal with Meta. This agreement comes at a time when the demand for cloud capacity is surging, making such deals crucial among top cloud infrastructure providers.
The deal is also significant in terms of the relationship between Meta and Google, two tech giants continually competing for dominance in the ad spend space.
