17-Year-Old Reagan Rhodes Crowned Miss Ultimate USA Teen

Reagan Rhodes, a senior at Thomson High School, has been crowned the winner of the Miss Ultimate USA Teen Scholarship pageant, held in Orlando, Florida from July 14-19. Rhodes, who is the daughter of Drs. Steve and Mychele Rhodes, will represent the Miss Ultimate USA Teen title and aims to expand her initiative "Reagan's Reach" through this role.

Through "Reagan's Reach," Rhodes continues to replenish her elementary school library with books and brings awareness to type 1 diabetes, literacy, and safe driving. She was also chosen as the spokesmodel for the Senior division.

Rhodes's initiative has been recognised with multiple awards, including the Community Service award for Reagan's Reach and the Teen Talent, Teen Photogenic, and Teen Academic awards. Through her program "Dogs for Diabetes," she donates stuffed dogs to the Children's Hospital of Georgia to help comfort newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetic children.

In addition to her pageant achievements, Rhodes is involved in various school activities. She is a varsity cheerleader, Beta Club vice-president, Student Council sergeant-at-arms, editor-in-chief of the school yearbook, and a participant in Healthcare Occupations Students of America and SkillsUSA Career-Technical Student Organizations.

As Miss Ultimate USA Teen, Rhodes plans to expand "Reagan's Reach" to create lending libraries, donate more to children's hospitals, and launch "TextLess Live More" events at schools nationwide. She also intends to attend the University of Georgia, majoring in Biology, with aspirations of becoming a dermatologist.

Rhodes's "Proud to be Me" workshop for pre-teen girls, which emphasizes self-worth, confidence, and personal values, will be brought to elementary schools, Miss Ultimate USA state pageants, and events over the next year. Rhodes's role as a Senior Adopter, acting as a school ambassador, further demonstrates her commitment to empower, inspire, and encourage young women to be their best.
