Telecel Ghana broadens Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) offerings via AI tutorials and digital packages
Telecel Ghana, a leading telecommunications company, has launched its 8th Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Month with a focus on connecting and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. The month-long event, themed "Connecting the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs," also marks the unveiling of Telecel's 2025 program, a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering youth and women-led businesses with technology, networks, and practical solutions.
During the launch in Accra, Silas Tufuor, the head of the 2025 program, revealed that the initiative is a strategic partnership between Telecel Ghana and Google. The 2025 program is designed to empower businesses with practical solutions, while the 8th SME Month shares a similar focus on connecting entrepreneurs and businesses with technology, networks, and practical solutions.
A key highlight of the 8th SME Month is the introduction of three new Hero Products. These include One Business Mobile, a mobile package tailored for entrepreneurs on the go; Your Business Online Reloaded, an affordable website and email solution; and a small teams' bundled digital services package.
In addition to the 8th SME Month and the 2025 program, Telecel Ghana has also organised several initiatives to support entrepreneurs. These include the Telescope Garden and Google AI Workshop, a three-day masterclass offering hands-on training in artificial intelligence for business growth. There's also the Red Mixer, a networking platform connecting startups with industry leaders, and the Connection Hustle Podcast 2.0, a platform for entrepreneurs to share authentic stories of building businesses.
Over the past year, over 500 women-led businesses have adopted Telecel's solutions, demonstrating the company's commitment to empowering businesses. The 2025 program and the 8th SME Month by Telecel Ghana reinforce the company's role as a strategic partner in Ghana's entrepreneurial journey, helping small businesses compete and thrive in a technology-driven economy.
While the 8th SME Month is specifically focused on the next generation of entrepreneurs, it does not share a common focus with the 2025 program in this regard. However, both initiatives are united in their mission to empower youth and women-led businesses, contributing to Ghana's vibrant entrepreneurial landscape.
