Telecommunications company masqueraders make off with valuables

In the heart of Bielefeld, a troubling incident occurred on Dornberger Street, as a single-family house near Brunsiek Street became the target of a theft.

On December 27, 2024, a duo, believed to be around 20 to 30 years old, gained unauthorized access to the house. The woman in the group, with short black hair and dressed in dark clothing, approached an elderly resident around 2:00 PM, claiming to be employees of a telecommunications company.

The duo requested the elderly woman to let them into the house and, upon gaining entry, proceeded to inspect the house and tamper with various electronic devices. They even asked the resident to turn on the television. After about ten minutes, the individuals left the house and walked down Dornberger Street towards Steinhagen.

The victim later realised that her wallet had been stolen from her handbag during the encounter.
