Television model reportedly observed along suspected adventure bike category

TVS Motor Company has made a significant stride in the motorcycle industry with the unveiling of a brand-new liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that displaces 299 cc. The engine, tuned to produce 34 bhp and 28.5 Nm, has sparked speculation about an upcoming adventure bike from the company.

A viral social media post claims that TVS' debut ADV bike has been spotted, and the test mules, though well-camouflaged, do seem to align with the description. The test mules sport a muscular design, a headlight cowl with a taller windshield, and a fairing design that looks quite voluptuous.

The bikes come equipped with disc brakes at both ends and ride on 19/17-inch alloy wheels, shod with road-biased tyres at both ends. The bikes also feature a USD fork and mono shock as standard, suggesting a supple ride quality.

Interestingly, the engine in the spy shots does not appear to be the RTX D4 engine due to the absence of gold-coloured casings. The new engine is likely to offer different ride modes, and it supports ride-by-wire technology. Additionally, traction control and cruise control might be supported by the new engine.

However, it's essential to note that the test mules may not necessarily be the production-spec bikes from TVS. The engine covers on the test mules are still not official, and the bikes are not yet confirmed to be the TVS Apache RTX 300, as speculated in the viral posts.

The TVS Apache RTX 300, expected to launch around September 2025, features a new 299cc RT-XD4 liquid-cooled engine, 35PS power, a trellis frame, upside-down forks, and a rear monoshock with preload adjustability.

As the motorcycle industry continues to evolve, TVS Motor Company's new engine and the mystery surrounding the upcoming adventure bike promise an exciting future for enthusiasts. Stay tuned for more updates as more details emerge.
