Tenants gather for festivities with WGP
In the heart of Passau, the Wohnungs- und Grundstucksgesellschaft Passau mbH (WGP) has recently completed a significant modernization project at the Sailerwoehr Residential Quarter. This renovation not only breathes new life into the historic buildings but also expands the living spaces available in the city.
The Sailerwoehr Residential Quarter, now updated and refreshed, boasts 102 residential units, each offering a comfortable living space. Alongside these residential units, WGP manages an additional 98 commercial units, providing a vibrant mix of businesses and homes within the community.
To celebrate this modernization project, WGP and the tenants held a joint festival. The event was attended by Passau's Mayor, Jürgen Dupper, who is also the chairman of WGP's supervisory board. The festival offered an opportunity for tenants to connect, discuss important living-related topics, and enjoy freshly grilled food and drinks.
As part of the renovation, drainage was ensured, new sidewalks were paved, and the inner courtyard was transformed. The courtyard now features a new wooden seating area with a metal roof, table tennis tables, and seating blocks, making it an inviting space for residents to relax and socialize. Approximately 85,000 euros were invested in this courtyard renovation.
Moreover, the inner courtyard was greened and newly planted, adding a touch of nature to the urban environment.
Beyond the Sailerwoehr Residential Quarter, WGP is also actively involved in creating new residential spaces. New apartments are currently being developed at Fruhlingsstrasse 24, Zieglreuth 12, and Laimgrub. Additionally, WGP is working in conjunction with the St. Johannis Hospital to realize a facility for assisted living, featuring approximately 50 apartments.
WGP manages a total of 1,818 apartments with a combined living area of approximately 115,000 square meters. The organization also manages around 342,000 square meters of land within the city area.
In conclusion, the renovation of the Sailerwoehr Residential Quarter and the construction of new apartments are part of WGP's ongoing commitment to providing quality living spaces in Passau. The organization continues to invest in the city's future, ensuring a comfortable and vibrant living environment for its residents.
