Tesla Introduces Seven-Seat Option for Model Y in Europe

Tesla has announced the availability of a seven-seat option for the Model Y in Europe, with deliveries expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year. The new variant is initially available for the Long Range All-Wheel Drive (LR AWD) Model Y, and can be ordered with a €1,000 savings using a referral code.

The retail price for the seven-seat LR AWD Model Y remains at €57,490, and it is offered with both black and partially white interior models. The white interior option costs an additional €1,200. The third row, available in both black and white interior models, costs €2,500.

As of Tuesday, no seven-seat LR AWD Model Ys were available in the German inventory. However, the seven-seat option is available in Germany and other European countries through Tesla's European order system. It's worth noting that the seven-seater Model Y is not offered exclusively by any particular German Tesla registration office.

Interestingly, Tesla is currently offering a €6,000 discount on all pre-produced Model Ys, but this offer cannot be combined with the seven-seat option. The seven-seat Model Y LR AWD is still available with 0% interest financing, and choosing the seven-seat option does not change this rate.

The seven-seat Model Y will be produced at the German Gigafactory. As of Tuesday morning, the German info pages did not yet advertise the possibility of ordering a Model Y with up to seven seats. However, the seven-seat option for the Model Y has been available for order in Europe since October 15, 2024.

In other news, Tesla has not yet updated its German info pages to reflect the possibility of ordering a Model Y with up to seven seats. This means that potential buyers may need to check directly with Tesla for the latest information on availability and ordering procedures.

Overall, the introduction of the seven-seat option for the Model Y in Europe represents a significant expansion of Tesla's offerings in the region, and is likely to be welcomed by families looking for a versatile and sustainable electric vehicle.
