After a long wait, a winner from Texas has finally received her share of an $83.5 million Texas Lottery prize, following tax deductions. The total amount she received was $35 million. However, she did not match the Powerball number that was drawn, which was 22, missing out on the grand prize.
The Powerball numbers drawn were 16, 19, 34, 37, and 64. Despite not winning the jackpot, another resident of San Antonio won a $1 million prize from the Premier Play scratch-off game. The winner of this ticket chose to remain anonymous.
As of the time of writing, the Powerball jackpot stands at a staggering $1.7 billion, with a cash value of $770.3 million. A resident of Pearland, Texas, won $1,000,004 in the Powerball game on August 25.
Meanwhile, at United Supermarket #520, located at 1229 Highway 16 S, a winning Mega Jumbo Bucks ticket was purchased. The winning ticket holder has yet to come forward to claim their prize. At launch, Mega Jumbo Bucks had more than $89.5 million in total prizes.
In another win, a resident of Graham, Texas, claimed a $1 million prize from the Mega Jumbo Bucks scratch-off game on September 4. This is the second of four top prizes of $1 million to be claimed in the Texas Lottery.
The Texas Lottery's Premier Play total prize pool stands at $137.5 million, with the odds of winning a prize being 1 in 3.55. There are still two top prizes of $1 million to be won in the Texas Lottery.
Unfortunately, search results do not provide information about who the third millionaire in Texas was to win a one million dollar prize from the Powerball lottery.
It's also worth noting that the jackpot had been temporarily withheld due to the ticket being purchased via a lottery courier app, before such services were banned.
