Straw Bale Fires in Wangels, Germany: Police Investigation Ongoing

Over the weekend, two incidents of straw bale fires occurred in the municipality of Wangels, Germany. According to a report from the Police Directorate Lübeck, transmitted via news aktuell, the fires occurred on Friday night and Sunday evening near Weißenhaus.

Approximately 200 straw bales were burned in each incident. The fires were contained by the fire department and THW, preventing them from spreading to adjacent fields and trees.
