The Commission will oversee the execution of the program.
On July 4, 2025, the city and county of Landshut's economic development agencies hosted a meeting for regional young entrepreneurs as part of the BETRIEBSBEREIT network. The event, held at the LINK startup center, provided a platform for discussion and networking.
The BETRIEBSBEREIT format aims to connect the next generation of entrepreneurs, offering them an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and expand their professional networks. This particular meeting focused on entrepreneurs from Landshut who are in the process of taking over a business, have recently done so, or are in the near past.
During the event, young entrepreneurs discussed various topics, including bureaucratic reduction, municipal finances, and training and funding opportunities. Two young businesswomen in the healthcare sector raised a concern about the current implementation of the e-prescription process, stating that it requires a lot of manual stamping and signing. County Commissioner Peter Dreier welcomed this suggestion and plans to raise it at a meeting of the Bavarian County Association.
Commissioner Dreier also emphasized the importance of young entrepreneurs taking on the responsibility of company ownership, especially in challenging times. He encourages further suggestions for bureaucratic reduction from young entrepreneurs.
The BETRIEBSBEREIT network meetings take place approximately every three months and may include discussions on topics such as bureaucratic reduction, municipal finances, and training and funding opportunities. Interested young entrepreneurs from the city and county of Landshut can sign up for the BETRIEBSBEREIT network by emailing [email protected].
The names of the two young entrepreneurs from the health sector who reported at the last BETRIEBSBEREIT event that the current implementation of the e-prescription does not meet their expectations and still requires much manual stamping and signing are not mentioned in the available sources. However, the event included a "fireside chat" with Commissioner Dreier, where he answered questions about regional topics.
The BETRIEBSBEREIT network meetings are hosted by the city and county of Landshut's economic development agencies and offer opportunities for networking and discussion for young entrepreneurs. County Commissioner Peter Dreier continues to support the initiative and encourages more young entrepreneurs to get involved.
