A series of robberies against parcel deliverers in the Frankfurt area between October 9 and 22, 2024, in the Sachsenhausen and Ginnheim districts, has led to a comprehensive investigation by the police.
The investigation began on October 22, 2024, when a 16-year-old suspect was arrested on Platenstraße. Using shipment tracking, the perpetrators were found to have followed the location of the packages and attacked the parcel deliverers, injuring four in total. The suspect used fraudulent cash-on-delivery orders and provided false personal information.
The same evening, police searched the apartment of another 15-year-old suspect and secured important evidence. During the search, police seized several high-value winter jackets and mobile phones.
Two days later, on October 24, 2024, two more suspects aged 15 and 17 were arrested. The 16-year-old and 12-year-old suspects were searched during the execution of the warrants. The 15-year-old suspect named the person who ordered the goods during the arrest.
The specialist commission executed two more search warrants at two male juveniles aged 16 and 12 the next day. The police did not provide information about any injuries sustained during the additional searches.
