Theodore "Ted" D. Casey, a seasoned farmer, inventor, respected mechanic, award-winning salesman, avid learner, sportsman, and a leader in his community, passed away on September 3, 2025. He was 85.

Born in Norristown, PA, Ted was a prominent member of several organizations including the Rough & Tumble Engineers Historical Association, Waterloo Boys of Southeastern PA, Rootes Family of Vehicles TEAE International, Lions Club of Landisville, Penn Dutch Sportsman Club, and Taste of Britain Lancaster MG Club.

Ted was known for his intelligence and had a wicked sense of humor. His family and loved ones often described him as "the smartest person" they know. Ted was a prominent figure in his community, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of many.

Ted is survived by his children, Janet Evans, Dorothy Nycholas, Andrew Casey, and their respective families. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ted was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Bostain and his wife Anne Casey.

A Funeral Service for Ted Casey will be held on Sunday, September 7, at 3:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland, PA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
