A severe accident took place in Schwerte on Sunday afternoon, resulting in the loss of three lives and leaving the community in shock. The accident involved a high-performance electric vehicle (EV) and claimed the lives of a 43-year-old man and two nine-year-old children.
According to the police report, the EV, driven by the 43-year-old man, was returning from a children's birthday party. The vehicle skidded, veered off the road to the right, and collided with a tree. The impact was immediate, and the EV caught fire.
