Throngs of attendees commemorate the 59th year of our urban center's existence, drawing massive crowds.
The 59th edition of Our City's Stadtfest took place, and it was more spectacular than previous years. More than 30,000 residents and guests from the region attended the four-day festival.
The successful execution of the festival was due to the great commitment of all those involved, including associations, institutions, schools, kindergartens, city administration, city building yard, and numerous voluntary helpers. Our city's CEO led a team that transformed the city into a large festival arena with offerings for all ages.
The amusement mile, children's area, and varied gastronomic selection were part of the festival offerings. The festival's program included colorful events, local performances in the afternoons, and musical highlights in the evenings.
On Friday, DJs provided entertainment, while Reiner Irrsinn performed on Sunday to close the festival. Tribute bands "Vier gewinnt" and "The Robbie Experience" performed on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Lena Laudon and Jakob Finke from the music school also performed on the recorder and clarinet during the festival.
Sponsors from the city and region played a crucial role in the festival, as demonstrated by the traditional reception before the official opening.
