In a concerning incident, a two-year-old girl was discovered unconscious with her head submerged in a water barrel at her home in Nakhon Ratchasima. The incident took place in the Muang district, specifically in Nong Takhong, at around 3.07 pm.

Relatives found the child headfirst in a water barrel outside the house. Upon discovery, the child was unconscious. Immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation was initiated by the rescuers from the Sawang Metta Korat foundation.

Medical staff later confirmed that the child had stopped breathing for an extended period. The child required intubation to keep her alive and was placed on a ventilator after the incident.

The family promptly called emergency services for help, and an emergency transfer of the child was coordinated with Maharaj Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital. The child is currently under close observation at the hospital, but no further information about her condition or prognosis has been provided.
