Top 11 Thrilling Vessels showcased at Cannes Yachting Festival 2025
The Cannes Yachting Festival, one of the longest-running boat shows in the world with a history dating back to 1977, is once again attracting a flurry of excitement on the French Riviera. With over 500 new models on display, the event is a haven for boat enthusiasts and a showcase for the latest innovations in yacht design.
This year, the festival is hosting the world debut of several new boats, including the Prestige M7, a multihull with superyacht styling, and the Princess V65, the largest non-fly motor yacht in the Princess fleet. The Itama 54, a sporty and elegant yacht with a sleek design, is also making its debut at the festival.
For those seeking adventure, the Outer Reef 780 Adventure, the largest and most capable Adventure-line motor yacht yet from Outer Reef, is on display. The Steeler Bronson 65, the flagship of the Steeler Yachts performance range, is another standout, built entirely from aluminium and powered by a pair of Volvo Penta D11 IPS-950s or 1350s.
The Sirena 60, an update to the popular Sirena 58, is making its debut at the festival, featuring plenty more superstructure glazing for improved light and views in the saloon. The Absolute Navetta 62, bridging classic trawler practicality with cutting-edge design, is another new addition.
British boat manufacturer Beneteau is also showcasing several new models at the festival. The new Beneteau team has launched a brand new Swift Trawler 37, in addition to the new Gran Turismo sportscruisers and a revised Grand Trawler 63. The Beneteau GT35 and GT40 will appear at the festival as a range aiming to offer 'villa living on the water'.
Another new entrant at the festival is the De Antonio D60, which will be presented in 2025 by De Antonio Yachts. The boat will showcase plentiful glazing for an inside-outside feel. The Aquila 46 Yacht is also making its debut in Cannes, designed to deliver big boat innovation on a more manageable platform. It comes with a Category-A RCD rating and an 1,800L fuel tank as standard, plus the option of a second 800L tank for extra autonomy.
The Cannes Yachting Festival is not just a celebration of new boats, but also a gathering of the boating community. With upwards of 50,000 visitors each year, the festival attracts boat enthusiasts from around the world, making it one of the biggest boat shows in Europe. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a curious newcomer, the Cannes Yachting Festival offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest and greatest in yacht design.
