Top Poker Club in Kazakhstan for 2016
Let's chat about Kazakhstan's prime poker hangouts of 2016! Give a thumbs up to your fave poker den.
Voting for just one of these top poker clubs in Kazakhstan: Alma City, Bombay, CashVille, Flamingo, or Macau, is all it takes. Consider these factors when casting your vote:
- Regular tournaments and cash games
- Staff performance and service
- Comfortable surroundings and atmosphere
- Sweet promotions
- Top-notch transfers and transportation
Here's a lowdown on each poker club:
- Alma City. Opened with a splash in March, but didn't quite hit the jackpot with the KazPokerTour tournament cancellation. By April, they found their groove with cheap and affordable games in tenge. Some Kazakh charm remains in the decor, but they position themselves as making poker accessible to all. With weekly tournaments, they're fighting for the title of "Club of the Year".
- Bombay. Boasts a sterling reputation as a swanky, luxurious club. Although they only hosted one EAPT stage in 2016 and discontinued weekly tournaments, you'll find plenty of daily cash games and superb comfort for cash players. In previous years, Bombay was a solid pick for SNG tournament poker.
- CashVille. While they only held one EAPT series and limited tournaments, they offer cash games on weekends. The shift to casino premises brought an end to its separate status, but it kept the great service, comfort, and location.
- Flamingo. A newly-minted poker club that opened at the start of autumn in Flamingo casino. It started off strong with cash games and a tournament with a $200 buy-in and $500 guarantee. But things turned sour by December, with hardly any play left. Perhaps it's too crowded in Kapchagay?
- Macau. Keeps its cards close to its vest, not wanting to share any details about its poker club. Canceled tournaments during spring 2016, but keeps TV poker regular 'Forumchik of the Year' Valera intrigued. partnership with Bellagio could lead to bigger things in the future.
