Torremolinos takes center stage with its prestigious exhibition
On Wednesday, September 17th, at 7pm, the heartwarming event "Encuentro de Mascotas de la Feria de San Miguel" will take place in Plaza Federico García Lorca, Torremolinos. This event is part of the San Miguel Fair and is open to various pet species, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, iguanas, guinea pigs, and more.
Owners are required to present an up-to-date health record for their animals during the event. Registration for the event is free and can be done via the Torremolinos Despega app or in person at the venue, from 6pm on the day of the event. Participating pets must be identified with a microchip or documentation and registered in the Andalusian Pet Registry where applicable.
The event will feature a circular parade format, with participants showcasing their pets to a jury appointed by the organizers. The jury will evaluate beauty, creativity, charm, and the bond between pets and their owners during the parade. Prizes will be awarded for the most original pet, the most elegant pet, and the best child presenter at the event.
A securely fenced area will be provided for the event with shaded zones, water stations, and rest areas for animals. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, a municipal veterinarian, local police canine unit, civil protection team, and an environmental first-aid vehicle will be on-site during the event.
In addition to the parade, numerous gifts from participating businesses will be distributed during the event. So, come along and join in the fun, as we celebrate our beloved pets and the special bond we share with them. Remember, responsible behavior is expected from all attendees to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
The 21st Pet Parade promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with joy, laughter, and the love of our furry, feathered, and scaly friends. We look forward to seeing you there!
