Traffic Mishap on B105 Near Reinberg: Two Motorists Lead to Multiple Collisions
On the evening of August 22, 2025, multiple traffic accidents occurred on the B105 near Reinberg, resulting in charges being filed against both drivers involved.
The first incident involved a BMW and a Skoda. According to reports, the BMW was attempting to overtake a truck, and in an attempt to avoid a collision with the Skoda, swerved and hit a roadside post. The driver of the BMW, a 24-year-old, was thrown onto the Skoda's hood and sustained minor injuries. The BMW driver was taken to Stralsund Hospital by ambulance.
The Skoda, driven by a 49-year-old, had initially attempted to overtake a slower-moving truck, resulting in a collision with the BMW. After the initial impact, the Skoda driver continued driving and collided with the BMW again, causing the BMW driver to be hit once more.
The Skoda driver, who fled the scene, was later located and stopped by patrol cars from Grimmen and Stralsund police stations. The driver was charged with hit-and-run, endangering traffic, and causing bodily harm.
Meanwhile, the BMW driver was charged with coercion in traffic for trying to force the Skoda driver to stop using violence. The total material damage from the accidents was approximately 2,000 EUR.
