In the heart of Hollywood Hills, interior design studio Ome Dezin has breathed new life into two bathrooms, blending understated French design with the owners' practical requirements.

The primary bathroom, designed as a serene sanctuary for relaxation, features a soft palette and a calming atmosphere. The flooring, a complementary black marble with a checkered design, sets the tone for the space. A custom double vanity with three columns of drawers and four deep medicine cabinets was built, ensuring ample storage without compromising the room's zen-like ambiance. The vanity is wrapped in a burst of oxblood, adding a touch of warmth and luxury.

The primary bathroom's walls are adorned with 'Burnt Sugar' Zellige tiles, priced at $198, which add character to the neutral scheme and evoke a sense of old-world elegance. The bathroom lights, with their vintage authenticity and old-school glamour, further enhance the room's charm.

Contrasting the primary bathroom's tranquil aesthetic, the guest bathroom showcases a bolder color scheme. A red-tiled shower enclosure creates a bold, zen-like atmosphere, while the walls feature the latest tile trends, including the 'Burnt Sugar' Zia tiles that anchor the space and color palette. The designers mixed vintage and new materials, resulting in a unique blend of old-world and modern design elements.

The guest bathroom was upgraded to address the lack of storage space and character. Four medicine cabinets with ample storage were installed, and a custom vanity was built to provide additional storage solutions. Small details, such as bathroom lights, were added to give character to the space, further enhancing its sophistication and boldness.

Throughout the design process, designers Joelle Kutner and Jesse Rudolph worked closely with the homeowners to understand their concerns, needs, and priorities. They had to re-route some plans due to existing piping and electrical issues during the renovation of the primary bathroom, but their dedication to balancing form and function shone through in the final designs.

In both bathrooms, Ome Dezin has created spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional, demonstrating the studio's commitment to delivering designs that meet the needs of their clients while maintaining a sense of timeless elegance.
