Transforming Enterprise Data Infrastructure Secures $17 Million Series A Funding via DataBahn.ai
DataBahn.ai, a pioneering cybersecurity company, has announced that it has raised $17 million in Series A funding. The funding round was led by Forgepoint Capital, with participation from S3 Ventures and GTM Capital.
The funding will be used to advance the development of the DataBahn platform, a groundbreaking solution designed to help enterprises regain control as data volumes outpace the limits of legacy SIEM and observability architectures.
Greg Stewart, senior director of cybersecurity and threat intelligence at CSL Behring, praised DataBahn's innovative approach to scalable security data management. He expressed that the DataBahn platform is at the core of next-generation observability architectures.
The DataBahn platform delivers an AI-native data fabric, a feature that has earned the trust of the world's largest enterprises. Its AI-powered data fabric is backed by Phantom agents, designed to be mindful of egress costs. These agents collect telemetry without deploying traditional agents, making them a valuable asset for cybersecurity professionals and organizations.
The newly developed Phantom agents by DataBahn.ai are utilized for advanced threat detection and automated incident response. They are also known for breaking through complexity and unlocking insight from day one without rewiring or retraining.
The DataBahn platform's new federated search capabilities deliver persona-based insights. This feature is expected to play a significant role in the platform's focus on agentic AI and autonomous agents.
Aaron Perman, partner at S3 Ventures, expressed excitement about partnering with DataBahn in their next phase of growth. He was joined by Ernie Bio, managing director at Forgepoint Capital, who has now joined the DataBahn.ai board of directors. Chris Inglis, former U.S. national cyber director, cybersecurity advisor to the president of the United States in the Biden administration, and an advisor to DataBahn.ai, also expressed confidence in DataBahn's role in next-generation observability architectures.
Nithya Nareshkumar, co-founder and president of DataBahn.ai, endorsed the product as a strategic asset for CISOs and IT leaders. She highlighted that the DataBahn platform will support global expansion.
With this funding, the total capital raised by DataBahn.ai now stands at $19 million. The company's innovative approach to security data management is considered a critical advancement in automating and optimizing data for next-generation security architectures.
