Traveling yet still embracing familiarity
The TourNatur exhibition, a celebration of outdoor activities and mobile travel, is set to return as a parallel event to the world's largest caravan fair, the Caravan Salon, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Taking place from the 31st of August to the 8th of September 2019, the Caravan Salon event will span across 13 halls and open-air grounds, covering an area of approximately 214,000 square meters. Over 2,100 leisure vehicles will be showcased during the event, catering to a wide range of interests.
However, the TourNatur exhibition, dedicated to mobile travel and those who enjoy activities such as hiking, climbing, or being active in nature, will be held separately within the event grounds. Specifically, it will take place in Hall 6 during the second weekend (6th to 8th September) of the Caravan Salon.
The TourNatur exhibition, which is free of charge for its guests on the second weekend, will not be held in the 13 halls where the main Caravan Salon event is taking place. Instead, it will offer a unique experience on the open-air grounds, featuring accessories, equipment parts, tents, mobile homes, holiday destinations, and camping and motorhome pitches.
The event is expected to attract a different audience than the main Caravan Salon event, with a focus on outdoor enthusiasts. In addition to the exhibits, special shows, features, and attractions with plenty of activities and fun are expected at the TourNatur exhibition in 2019.
Meanwhile, the Caravan Salon event serves as the world's largest platform for industry professionals to exchange ideas and network. Organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, with professional support from the Caravaning Industrie Verband Deutschland (CIVD), the event is anticipated to attract over 250,000 caravanning fans from 75 countries.
Moreover, the "Caravaning Sports" offer will premiere on the open-air grounds of the Caravan Salon event, showcasing vehicles that are well-suited for combining sporting activities and holidays on four wheels.
