In an unexpected incident on the evening of August 27, 2025, a collision occurred at Holstentor in Lübeck involving a city bus and a Volkswagen Passat. The driver of the VW, a 75-year-old man from Leipzig, is currently under investigation by Lübeck police for causing dangerous driving by improperly changing lanes.
