In the past few years, Turkey has been a beacon of hope for the people of Gaza, providing crucial humanitarian aid and support. Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey has been a vocal advocate for Gaza on international platforms, making urgent calls to the world.

One of the key organisations leading Turkey's aid efforts is the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation. Over the last few months, the Foundation has distributed a significant amount of aid to Gaza's residents. This includes 206,521 food parcels, 129,789 sacks of flour, 17,848 vegetable packages, 2,567 tankers of drinking water, and meat parcels. The Foundation has also provided 35.19 million hot meals and 4 million hot meals through the Istanbul-based Federation of Humanitarian Associations (IDDEF).

The Deniz Feneri Association, another Turkish organisation, has been instrumental in providing clean drinking water and meals to the people of Gaza. They supply 15 tons of clean drinking water daily and operate two wells. Moreover, they deliver three daily meals to patients and caregivers at Al-Wafa Hospital and serve daily hot meals to 15,000 people in Gaza via 10 soup kitchens.

Turkey's aid efforts have not been limited to food and water. The Turkish Red Crescent has spearheaded five "Kindness Ship" missions, sending 15,089 tons of aid to Gaza. Additionally, Turkey has established eight field hospitals in Gaza and provided $7.5 million in financial assistance through the Turkish Red Crescent and Disaster and Emergency Management Agency.

Turkey has also played a significant role in the evacuation of patients from Gaza to Turkey. Nine aircraft have been used to transport 430 patients and 450 accompanying individuals from Gaza to Turkey for medical treatment.

The Cansuyu Association has dispatched 102 trucks of essentials, including food parcels, flour, rice, oil, and legumes to Gaza. The capacity of the soup kitchens has expanded to 21,000 meals per day in partnership with the Palestine Red Crescent Society and locals.

Doctors Worldwide has aided over 43,000 families and 900,000 people with health care, food, and hygiene support in Gaza. The Sadakataşı Association has reached about 2 million people with health, food, shelter, and emergency aid in Gaza.

In total, Turkey has sent a staggering 101,271 tons of emergency humanitarian aid materials to Gaza. Aid has been transported via 16 ships and 14 aircraft. Turkey's unwavering commitment to Gaza's people is evident in these figures, and the country continues to strive to improve the lives of those living in the region.
