Turkish electronics company Vestel plans to increase exports to the United States threefold by the year 2028, as stated by an executive.

Vestel, a leading Turkish electronics company, is making significant strides in the U.S. market. Seçkin Gençoğlu, Vestel's Foreign Trade Sales General Manager, expects the company to reach $50 million in sales by 2025. This ambitious target is part of a broader goal to triple their exports to the United States to $150 million by 2028.

To achieve this, Vestel has been partnering with major players in the U.S. market ecosystem, including VIDAA, Roku, Amazon, and Google. The company's strategic collaborations include the acquisition of Scandinavian brand Cylinda and a memorandum of understanding with smart TV platform VIDAA in 2024.

One of the most significant milestones in Vestel's U.S. push was the collaboration with Roku, formalised in July 2025. This partnership has seen Roku OS integrated into Vestel's smart TVs, significantly boosting the company's presence in the U.S. market. By expanding its smart TV offerings and increasing sales, Vestel aims to bring Roku into the European market as well.

Duygu Badem Uylukçuoğlu, Chief Marketing Officer, stated that the deal with Roku will support Vestel's American growth and bring Roku into the European market through Vestel.

Vestel has been preparing for the U.S. market since 2019, adapting their product range to meet the specific voltage, design, and consumer needs of the United States. The company currently works with 23 customers and 33 brands in the United States, exporting $24 million worth of products to the U.S. last year.

Vestel exports to more than 160 countries and generates $2.3 billion in annual exports. The IFA 2025 consumer electronics fair, taking place in Berlin, is another opportunity for Vestel to showcase its products and further its global expansion.

Seçkin Gençoğlu's goal of reaching $150 million in sales by 2028 is still in progress, but with strategic partnerships, adaptations, and a strong focus on the U.S. market, Vestel is well on its way to achieving this target.
